In equity news Kate covers BHP’s confirmation it is not intending to make a new firm offer for Anglo American. She also looks into Lendlease, New Zealand Aluminium Smelters’ 20-year electricity arrangements – including contracts with Meridian Energy, Contact Energy and Mercury NZ. Finally, Kate covers Salesforce’s recent quarter which included shortfalls in revenue and margins.
