In this week’s Monday Market Highlights, Sustainable Investment Analyst Nick Morgan discusses the US CPI data print which came in softer than expected – getting closer to the Fed’s targeted inflation of 2-3% per annum. He also looks into the US retail sales numbers for October, with manufacturing activity weaker than expected and industrial production down. US housing data was mixed with the NAHB housing market index falling to 34 from 40 in September. Nick also covers NZ REINZ housing data, Australian employment data for October which came in above expectations, lower-than-expected credit and liquidity data out of China, and slowing headline inflation in the UK.
