He discusses the core services and supercore index, goods deflation and the stickiness of services inflation, along with producer price index data. Brendan looks into data out of the UK, including private sector wage growth which decelerated to 6.2%, CPI data which was more encouraging, and GDP data, which showed the UK was in a technical recession in the second half of 2023. The A6 200 broke out to a new all-time high, and the S&P 500 also reached new highs. Much of this has been driven by the market darlings in tech, known as the Magnificent 7, which consist of Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Google, Meta, Tesla, and NVIDIA.
